8 Simple steps to restoring your damaged hair
By Vicky Evans
So you have had your hair coloured, styled and you felt great. A few weeks or more have past and now your dried, damaged and frizzy hair is getting you down. It’s in need of revival. Don’t panic!
I’m a brunette through and through, but decided to try blonde. I love my new colour. But I have started to wonder if I made the right decision. A month later my hair began to feel dry and appeared quite damaged, I was quite upset.
As recommended by one of our top Stylists, Gemma, I recently started a new hair maintenance regime with the simple aim of restoring the condition and feel of my hair. I can honestly say that it is working and casted those doubts I had aside. I’m going to share my regime with you, and best of all you can do this at home.
The 8 simple steps
-
Using L’Oreal Repair Cellular Shampoo, apply generously and lather into your hair thoroughly. Rinse the shampoo out and repeat the process once more.
-
Now apply Clynol Repair and Revive Conditioner, using deep massage techniques on your scalp and throughout the hair.
-
You need to leave the conditioner on your hair and cover with a shower or plastic cap for at least 15 minutes to help seal in moisture. At this point, I suggest a small glass of wine and a good book.
-
Thoughrouly rinse your hair off ensuring all conditioner is removed, and using a towel tap dry your hair.
-
Now spray Clynol Moisture Dream leave in conditioner spray to your mid-lengths and ends and comb through.
-
Now, allow your hair to dry naturally. Give it a break from heat styling; however
-
If you want to style your hair, I suggest applying L’Oreal Mythic Oil before blow-dying. If using heat stylers, apply Clynol flattening spray to help protect your hair from the heat of plates. Now style your hair as desired.
-
For a frizz free finish, apply L’Oreal Mythic Oil after styling; Pump one or two amounts into the palm of your hands and work through your mid-lengths and ends evenly. This will leave your hair looking shiny and controlled for a Salon Finish at home.
Personally, I like to straighten my hair daily, so I try to complete this regime once or twice a week.
